Paul Sparks, 42, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Mercy One- Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Thursday, July , 2020 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church - Clinton. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Tony Meyermann, Chuck Wolever, Eddie Goodell, Mike Cripps, Matthew Fuegen, Brad Kaup. Honorary casketbearers will be Andrew Fuegen, Lilly Fuegen, Preston Vanderburg and Camanche Class of '96. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. The family requests that you wear sports attire for both. Paul Matthew Sparks was born on May 10, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa. He was a 1996 graduate of Camanche High School. He married the love of his life, Dana Wolever on March 7, 1998 in Grand Mound, Iowa.

Paul was currently employed at LyondellBasell in Clinton. He also worked at ALCOA and Classic Bodyworks. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He lived for his family, the bond they had will never be broken. He loved spending time with his family and his extended family; camping, swimming, playing games, it didn't matter what as long as they were together.

Paul is survived by his wife: Dana of Clinton; his son: Dyllan (Morgan Berry) Sparks of Cedar Falls, Iowa, his daughter: Makenzi Sparks of Clinton; fur and fin babies, his grandpups: Blake & Daisy, grandkittens, his mother-in-law: Billie Jean Worley of Clinton; his sister-in-law: Dawn (Mike) Cripps of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, his brother-in-law: Chuck (Marie) Wolever of Bettendorf; niece: Ashlee (Matthew) Fuegen and her children: Lilly & Andrew, and nephew: Preston Vanderburg. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Vern Worley, nephew: Matthew, cousin; Roy Sparks
