Sharon R. Dague, age 75 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her home in Maquoketa. Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sharon was born in Clinton on July 24, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Kramer) Leighty. She graduated from Clinton High School. Sharon married William E. Dague in Clinton in 1973. William passed away in 2006. Sharon loved her dogs and enjoyed playing bingo with her sister Joan.
Sharon is survived by her children, Eunice Olivier of Louisiana, Daniel Shirley of Louisiana, Ernie (Brenda) Dague of Goose Lake, Paul (Laura) Dague of Maquoketa and Jody (Dawn) Dague of Camanche; her significant other Roger Burk of Maquoketa; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and her sister Dorothy McCartney of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; granddaughter, Ericka and two sisters.
