Michael E. Hazlett age 31 of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday May 30, 2020 in Maywood, IL. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Saturday June 27th at the Pape Funeral Home. Michael was born on Dec. 12, 1988 in Clinton, IA, the son of Elmer and Tina (Snyder) Hazlett. He worked various construction jobs throughout the Clinton area. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and family outings. He was known for his smile, his kindness, and his sense of humor.

Michael is survived by his 13 year old son, Dontrell Peters-Hazlett of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Tina Marshall of Clinton; two sisters, Deonna Hazlett of Cedar Rapids, IA and Patricia Snyder of Clinton; two brothers, Charles Snyder and Harley Hazlett both of Clinton; his maternal grandmother, Diane Snyder of Clinton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
