Obituary

Demar “Bob” Robert Kassel, 73, of Clinton, Iowa passed way on Friday, February 7, 2020. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a private family celebration of his life taking place at a later date. Burial will also take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is honored to guide the family through the arrangements.

Bob was born July 1, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Carl and Kathryn (Honeycutt) Kassel. He was united in marriage to Vicki Baldwin in 1976.

Bob was a truck driver throughout his life.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He loved pets, especially his dog – Bandit. Above, all he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.

Bob is survived by his wife Vicki of Clinton; his children - Scott Kassel, Carl Kassel, William Kassel, Corleen “Corie” (Jim) Garien, Steph (Steve) Bain; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; with several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
