Mrs. Wm. Eickert, formerly of this city, died at her home four miles southeast of Thomson at five o'clock this morning, after an illness of about two weeks, death being due to pneumonia.

Miss Mary Wascho was born in Pommern, Germany, May 3, 1869, and came to Clinton, Ia., with her parents, when she was five years old. She was united in marriage to William Eickert on June 24, 1888, and lived here until 1907 when they moved to Thomson, where they have resided since.

Mrs. Eickert leaves to mourn her death, her husband and six children, William, Julius, Alfred, Lydia and Irene, at home, and Mrs. Stager of Chadwick, Ill.; also five brothers, John, Carl, William, Otto and Louis, and two sisters, Mrs. Herman G?? and Emma Wascho.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home with services in the church near Thomson cemetery, and interment in the cemetery there. Rev. Hugo Grimm of Lyons will officiate.
