Confirmation was received in Clinton this morning of the reported suicide at Quincy, Ill., of Mrs. W. L. Busby, wife of the former manager of the Clinton theatre. She shot herself with a revolver on board the Steamer G. W. Hill, an excursion boat, while it stood in port.

Mrs. Busby was well known in Clinton having sold tickets at the local theatre before the name was changed to The Clinton. Mr. Busby and his wife left here about ten years ago. He is manager of a theatre in Quincy.
