Mrs. Dorothea Brockmueller, nee Bartels, aged 35 years, died at her home two miles southwest of DeWitt yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from uraemic poisoning.

Deceased was born September 7th, 1870, in Mickenberg-Schwerin. In 1903 she came to DeWitt, where she was married to Fred Brockmueller in 1904. Five children were born to them, the oldest twelve and the youngest two weeks old. Her many friends in that vicinity will be grieved to learn of her death.

She is survived by her husband, five children, four brothers, Edmund Bartels, Herman Bartels and Theodore Bartels of near DeWitt, and William of Davenport; four sisters, Mrs. Paula Koenig of Germany, Mrs. Anna Theoe of DeWitt and the Misses Minnie and Henni Bartels of Germany.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence two miles southwest of DeWitt. Services will be conducted at the home by Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church, Lyons. Interment will be made in the Elwood cemetery.

Funeral services of Mrs. Dorothea Brockmiller were held from her late residence Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church of Lyons. Interment was made in Elmwood cemetery. Friends of the family who acted as pall bearers were William Sitan, Fred Thiede, Otto Paetow, Hans Triebel, John Hammer and John Lausen.
