Hazel, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lake, of 235 Fifth avenue, died last night shortly after midnight, after a week's severe illness. She had been an invalid practically all her life.

While no funeral arrangements have been definitely made, it is expected that the body will be taken to Maquoketa Friday, and funeral services will be held in Maquoketa Saturday afternoon, with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Funeral services for Miss Hazel Lake who died yesterday, will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the residence, with Rev. F. H. Burrell in charge. At 5 p.m. the body will be taken to Maquoketa to the home of Thomas Hench, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m.

Maquoketa, Iowa, March 27--The remains of Miss Hazel Lake, who died Wednesday in Clinton, were brought to this city for burial. The funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hench at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. Bartholomew officiated and interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
