Mrs. August Englehaupt, aged 47 of 302 Sixteenth avenue, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at Mercy hospital after an illness of but two days. Heart failure was the cause of death.

Mrs. Englehaupt was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, April 10, 1867. She spent a large part of her life at Fulton, Ill., before moving to Clinton six years ago. She was taken ill Friday and became rapidly worse necessitating her removal to the hospital. She is survived by her husband and three children, May of Chicago, Francis and Edward of Clinton, and a sister, Mrs. James A. Judge of Indiana Harbor, Ind.

Mr. Englehaupt is in Nebraska, and no funeral arrangements will be made until he arrives.
