Wheatland, Iowa, March 21--(Special) Mrs. Gustave Horstman died at 12:30 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness having been bedfast for the last six months.

No funeral announcements have been made.

Wilhelmina Daehn was born at Lowden, October 25, 1879, and grew to womanhood there and was confirmed in the Lowden Lutheran church in 1892. She married Reinhold Winkler January 12, 1898, and then made her home in Wheatland. To them were born two daughters, Ella and Agnes. Mr. Winkler died July 22, 1915.

She was united in marriage to Gustave Horstman, October 12, 1921.

Mrs. Horstman is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Steffy of Wheatland, and Mrs. Walter Mueller, of Calamus; her mother, Mrs. August Meyer; four sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Clemens, Mrs. Lottie Bicknese, Mrs. Freda Sanders and Mrs. Alma Stolte, and six brothers, Fred Daehn, Walter, Herbert, Hugo, Ben and August Meyer, all of whom live in this vicinity.

Mrs. Horstman was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, being treasurer of the local lodge at the time of her death, also belonging to the American Legion auxiliary of Post 447 and of the ladies aid society of the Reformed church.--Clinton Herald.
