Mrs. W. W. McConnell died this morning at 1 o'clock of tuberculosis with which she had suffered for several years. Her maiden name was Mary Hudson and she was born at Elvira April 12, 1863; was united in marriage Nov. 16, 1898 to W. W. McConnell. He died Nov. 23, 1900. She is survived by four brothers and four sisters: Robert, George and Henry Hudson of Low Moore, William Hudson of DeWitt; Mrs. A. A. Dann, and Mrs. R. H. Fuller of Low Moore; Mrs. E. D. Hall and Mrs. O. F. Blackburn of DeWitt. Deceased was a member of the United Presbyterian church and her former pastor, Rev. C. H. Mitchell, assisted by Rev. M. L. Neill, will conduct the funeral services which will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Funeral services were held this afternoon for the late Mrs. W. W. McConnell. After prayer at the house by Reverend C. H. Mitchell, the remains were taken to the U.P. church, where funeral services were conducted by Reverends Mitchell and Neill. Appropriate music was furnished by the church choir and interment was made in Elmwood cemetery. The bearers of the pall were J. A. Hannum, J. W. Lo?? W. L. Lambertson, Jasper Howatt, William Thomas and Joseph Merritt.
