A. R. Stringham, age 76, resident of Camanche for 40 years, died at his home there at 7:30 a.m. today. Mr. Stringham ran the New Havon house for years and is well known to many Clinton people. He has been an invalid for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife, a sister, Mrs. Ida Anthony of Clinton; and two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Kuchel of Clinton and Mrs. H. A. Cady, of Camanche. Funeral services will be held in Camanche Thursday at 2 p.m.

Camanche, Iowa, March 6--L. Stringham passed away Tuesday morning at his home in this city. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon.
