Bert Tansey died this morning at one o'clock at his home in West DeWitt, after an illness of several weeks' duration. He was born in DeWitt in 1869, was married Dec. 11, 1916 to Maud Carson, who with two children, Herbert and Lucille, survive.

The funeral will be held at the Methodist church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in Elmwood cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Bert Tansey were held yesterday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. J. J. Kidder. W. S. Cox and daughter, Pauline, furnished appropriate music. Those who acted as pall bearers were Louis Christensen, Hiram Rice, John Howes, R. L. Baldwin, J. Jasperson and Chas. Hansen. Interment was made in Elmwood cemetery.
