Mrs. Mary McGarry
Services for Mrs. Mary E. McGarry, 2712 Brady St., Davenport, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, Toronto. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McGarry died Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Anna Wolfe, 1506 Gaines Street.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haylock-O’Hara Funeral Home, Maquoketa.

Born Dec, 6, 1872, in Clinton County, the former Mary Hart lived in Davenport since 1919. She [Mr. McGarry] died in 1939. Mrs. McGarry was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Davenport, the Catholic Women’s League and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Anna Wolfe, Davenport; two brothers, Ruben Hart, Davenport and Stephen, DeWitt. (The Daily Times, Davenport, IA, December 16, 1957)
