John Rose died at 12:55 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Matt Boehmer, 515 North Seventh street.
The deceased was born in Germany on August 15th, 1833 and came to this country when a young man and has resided on a farm about 8 miles out of town and for the past two years has been living with his daughter on North 7th street Mrs. Beamer.
left to mourn his death are five children living and one dead, also his wife.
The children are: Mrs. Jack Beamer of Lyons; Mrs. Will Holgraver of Highland, Wisconsin; Mrs. Anton Deshak of Browns, Iowa; Alvey and Frank Rose living near this city. He also leaves one brother, Lawrence Rose of Chicago.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 a.m. from St. Boniface church. Burial will be made in St. Boniface cemetery, Rev. F. Tritz will officiate.

The funeral of the late John Rose will be held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Matt Boehmer, 516 North Seventh street Monday morning at 9 o'clock with requiem high mass at St. Boniface church. Interment will be made in St. Boniface cemetery.
Left to mourn are his wife, Mrs. Christine Rose of this city; Mrs. William Holdgrafer of West of Lyons, Frank Rose of Highland, Wis.; Mrs. Anton Teshak, Brown's Station, Iowa, and Alvin Rose of west of Lyons; also one brother, Lawrence Rose of Chicago.

The funeral of the late John Rose was held at 9 o'clock this morning from St. Boniface church, Rev. Jos. Tritz celebrated the requiem mass and interment was in St. Boniface cemetery. The pall bearers were: Mat Jebgen, Herman Manning, Joe Borbeck, Anton Clauseman, Henry Wagenmaker and Wm. Jost.
