Miss Mary McCarthy, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. T. McCarthy of 681 Eleventh avenue, passed away early on Thanksgiving morning after a week's illness of diphtheria. The funeral, which was private was held on the same afternoon, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

The child was born on March 23, 1913. She leaves to mourn her death her parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John McCarthy and Mr. and Mrs. F. Salutz, and a number of aunts and uncles, all living in Clinton.
