Edward J. Muhl, 37, prominent farmer and stock feeder of east of Toronto, died at the Mayo hospital in Rochester, Minn., Friday night of pneumonia following an operation Tuesday for brain tumor. The body was brought to the home of his father, Gus Muhl in Toronto Saturday evening. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E. J. Braun of Lost Nation in the Federated church at Lost Nation at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon following short services in the father's home. Burial was made in Pine Hill cemetery near Wheatland.

Mr. Muhl was born August 8, 1898 on the Muhl homestead east of Toronto, where he spent his entire life.

He was married to Miss Lucille Klueber of Lowden in February 1920. To this union was born one son, Dale, who with his mother, and Mr. Muhl's father survive. His mother preceded him in death in 1932.
