Miss Fannie F. Skellinger, for 18 years a resident of this city, passed away at 6:10 o'clock this morning at the home of her brother, C. F. Skellinger, 1215 Ninth avenue, after an illness dating from last April.

The deceased was born on February 24th, 1857, and is survived by her brother, a sister, Mrs. Thornton of New Providence, Iowa, a half sister, Mrs. Jordan, and a half brother, Frank Skellinger, of Whittier, California. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and of the Yeomen.

The funeral service will be held at the Skellinger home at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. G. R. Cady, pastor of the First Congregational church. The remains will be taken to Eldora, Iowa, former home of the deceased for interment, the funeral party leaving here on the Northwestern at 3:40 o'clock Saturday morning.

Funeral services for the late Miss Fannie Skellinger were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her brother, C. F. Skellinger, 1215 Ninth avenue, in charge of Rev. Geo. R. Cady, pastor of the First Congregational church. The remains will be sent to Eldora, Iowa, for burial leaving on an early train Saturday. Accompanying the body will be Mr. Skellinger and Mrs. Thornton and Miss Inez Thornton of New Providence, Iowa.
