Funeral services for Mrs. Lisetta Amelia Kroh, 83, who died Jan. 12 in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Gehrls, Lowden, were held Jan. 15 in St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wheatland. The Rev. Harold Koenig officiated. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland. Mrs. Kroh had been ill for a year.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Delmar and Dwaine Bentrott, Merlon Kroh, Ferd Kelting, Harold Goettch and Gaylon Gehrls.

Mrs. Marvin Schroeder and Mrs. Harold Goettch, granddaughters had charge of the flowers.

Lisetta Riedesel was born Jan. 24, 1879, in Germany, the daughter of George and Katherine Riedesel. She received her education in Germany, where she was married in 1900 to George Kroh. They came to the United States in 1902 and farmed southwest of Wheatland and where Mr. Kroh died in 1927.

Since that time she farmed with her son, Fred. In October, 1961, she came to make her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gehrls.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland and its women's guild.

She is survived by 2 sons, George, Alexandria, Minn. and Fred, Wheatland; 3 daughters, Mrs. Henry (Lydia) Bentrott, Calamus; Mrs. Ted (Erna) Werling, Davenport, and Mrs. Hugo (Freda) Gehrls, Lowden; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Emma Strackbein, Wheatland; 2 brothers, Fred Strackbein, Wheatland and Adolph Riedesel, Blue Grass.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, a daughter, 2 sons, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
