Mrs. H. Henningsen, Sr., passed quietly away during her sleep between the hours of 3 and 6 o'clock this morning at her home, 404 Wallace avenue. Mrs. Heningsen suffered a stroke of paralysis four years ago, and had since been ailing. The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. H. Henningsen, Sr., nee Anna M. RIchen, was born in Rensburg, Germany, Feb. 15, 1849. Coming direct to Lyons, Ia., in 1868, she was married to H. Henningsen, Nov. 5, 1870, just forty-seven years ago Monday of this week.

To this union were born seven children, four dying in infancy, leaving to mourn her the husband, two sons, H. Henningsen, Jr., and Otto H. of this city, one daughter, Miss Metha at home and one grandson.

She suffered a paralytic stroke four years ago, being an invalid since that time. She was an ever cheerful and patient sufferer, but gradually failing, she passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday morning.

A loving wife, a mother untiring in her devotions to her children, and one ever ready to do all in her power for her friends.

Funeral services will be held at the residence 404 Wallace avenue, at 2 o'clock Thursday.
