Funeral services for Henry J. Kroh, 58, Wheatland, who died Aug. 16 at University hospital, Iowa City, following surgery, were held Aug. 19 in St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church at Wheatland. The Rev. Harold Koenig officiated. Burial was in Pine Hill cemetery, north of Wheatland.

The male quartet of the church sang accompanied by Wilma Riedesel, organist.

Pallbearers were Lester and Roland Fox, Kenneth Hass, Melvin Witte, Elmer Kelting and Hugo Danmeier. Mrs. Roland Fox and Mrs. Edward Bachus had charge of the flowers.

Henry K. Kroh was born Dec. 26, 1902 south of Wheatland, the son of George and Lisetta Riedesel Kroh. He received his education in the rural schools and was united in marriage to Ursa Stoecker, Feb. 15, 1930. They spent their entire married life farming southeast of Lowden.

Preceding him in death were his father, a brother and half-sister.
