Mrs. M. Kettlesen died Thursday evening at the home of her father, Mr. David Munz, 920 North Eighth street. The deceased had been ill for the past year and had recently returned from Rochester, Minn., where she had been taking treatment at the Mayo Brothers' hospital in that city.

Miss Elizabeth Munz was born in Chicago, Ill., Dec. 26, 1873, and came to this city a few years later with her parents. She has lived here practically all her life. On January 31st, 1893 she was married to Michael D. Kettlesen. To them were born five sons, four of whom survive: Arthur, Howard, Lee and Vernon, Harry having died a few years ago.

The deceased was well known and respected by all who knew her and was a kind and loving mother. Left to mourn her loss besides her grief-stricken husband and family, are her aged father, David Munz, and two sisters, Miss Emma Munz, at home, and Mrs. Anthony Wulf, of this city. She also leaves one brother, John Munz, of Lewistown, Mont.

The funeral will be held from the home on North Sixth street Saturday morning with services from the St. Irenaeus church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. M. Ketelsen was held this morning from St. Irenaeus' church at 9 o'clock with Rev. Father Comerford officiating. A large number of friends gathered at the church to pay their last respects to the deceased.

The following acted as pallbearers: Messrs. Will McCutcheon, James McQuillan, Patrick Malloy, George Murphy, John Fellows and Henry Wulf.

Burial was made in Oakland cemetery.
