Robert Nunn passed away Sunday at 6:05 a.m. after an illness of some duration. The deceased was born October 14, 1844, and was a veteran of the civil war, being a member of the 46th Illinois infantry for four years.

Mr. Nunn has resided in this city the greater part of his life, and his host of friends will be sorry to hear of his death. He leaves to survive him besides his wife, three sons, Robert of Clark Lake; Edward of Fort Atkinson, Wis. and John of Cedar Rapids, Ia., also two daughters, Mrs. Martha Lisk of Clinton and Mrs. Susan Strickle of Lyons.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Odd Fellows hall. The remains will be laid to rest in Oakland cemetery.

Impressive funeral services were held for the late Robert Nunn, at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Odd Fellows hall. The hall was thronged with old-time friends of the deceased, coming to pay their last respects. There were many beautiful floral offerings from friends and relatives. Rev. R. C. Keagy, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the funeral services and delivered an eloquent eulogy.

Interment was made at Oakland cemetery and at the grave the Odd Fellows conducted the service of their order. Many of the Odd Fellows accompanied the remains to the grave. The pallbearers were August Johnson, Joe Avon and W. Rose of the G.A.R. Post and August Tetens, Clyde Baker and John Krebs from the Odd Fellows lodge.

Out of town relatives and friends here to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Marquette, Lena, Ill.; Mrs. Van Epps, Lena, Ill.; John Nunn, Cedar Rapids; Robert Nunn, Clear Lake, Minn.; Edward Nunn, Ft. Atkins, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. James Strickel, Anamosa, Ia.; John Strickel, Anamosa, Ia.; Charles Strickel, Anamosa, Ia.; Mrs. F. M. GLenn, Olin; Harry Johnson, Marion.
