John F. Redden died last evening about six o'clock at his home in South DeWitt. He was ill about two weeks after having recovered from a very serious operation which he underwent ten months ago. He is survived by his wife and four children, two boys and two girls; two sisters, Mrs. J. Keefe of Clinton and Mrs. Anna Williams of DeWitt, and one brother, Robert L. Redden.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at nine o'clock at St. Joseph's church and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery.

Funeral services for the late John F. Redden were conducted Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church by Rev. Father Nelson. Those who acted as pallbearers were Messrs. Fred Green of Grand Mound, John Hogan of Davenport, G. N. Pratt, Ed Donahue, John Moore, and Thomas Tiernan. Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery. Deceased is survived by a wife, four children, two boys and two girls; two sisters, Mrs. J. Keefe of Clinton, Mrs. Anna Williams of DeWitt and one brother, Robert L. Redden of DeWitt.
