Mrs. Clara Reed was found about noon yesterday at the home of John Jackson on Seventh avenue in an unconscious condition from a paralytic stroke. She was removed to Agatha hospital at once, remaining in the same condition until 3:30 o'clock this morning, when she passed into the beyond.

Mrs. Reed was 81 years of age and had made her home in Clinton for many years. Surviving to mourn her death are a son-in-law, John Jackson, and a grandson, Charles Jackson, of this city, with whom she made her home.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the residence of Mr. Jackson, 516 Seventh avenue, where services will be conducted by the Rev. M. J. Locke of the First Methodist church. Interment will be made in Springdale cemetery.
