The death of George J. Rove occurred Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Agatha hospital, after a week's illness with pneumonia.

The deceased was born Dec. 19, 1864, in Norway and came to America in 1872. He was a resident of Clinton for the past twenty years, having been an employee at Curtis Bros. for a period of twelve years. Mr. Rove had been affiliated with the orders of Masons and Woodmen. He never married.

Those who survive to mourn his loss are two sisters, Mrs. John Olson of this city, and one in Canada, four nieces and one nephew.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his sister, 330 Sixteenth avenue. Later services will be conducted at the Swedish Lutheran church by the Rev. John Everett and burial will be made in the Swedish cemetery on Second avenue road.

The funeral of George J. Rove was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Swedish Lutheran church.

Members of Western Star lodge A.F. & A.M. attended the funeral, the following acting as pallbearers for their deceased brother: Emil Rundgren, Elmer Nelson, G. A. Norlin, Al Franzen, W. H. Rock and John Lorenz.

Attending the services from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Davey, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Davey and Miss Marion Davey, all of Malone, Iowa.
