The death of Gladys Roberts, aged 23 years, occurred last evening at 10:30 o'clock at the home, 429 Sixth avenue, after a lingering illness of three years.

The deceased was born in Clinton Oct. 2, 1893. She was educated in the Clinton public schools and graduated from the Clinton High school, class of 1914. Since her graduation her frail health caused her to live in retirement with her parents. She never entered in many activities, but was always mindful of the health and happiness of her mother. In the opinion of her many friends nothing too good can be said of her.

Surviving to mourn her loss are her parents and one sister, Irene, at home; also an aunt, Miss Rebecca Fuller of this city.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. The Rev. George D. Rogers and Rev. H. J. Rendall will officiate. In the evening the body will be taken to Sac City, Ia., for burial in the family cemetery there.
