Jacob N. Crouse was born at Waynesboro, Pa., Sept. 29th, 1853, and died September 19, 1917. He was a resident of Lyons for 14 years, having run the Union House in this city for some time. On July 26th, 1912, his wife died and Sept. 24th, 1914, he was married to Miss Cora Northinton and one year later moved to Jonesboro, Tenn.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bormann undertaking parlors. Rev. Mr. McAulay of the Lyons Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

The remains of the late Jacob Crouse arrived here Saturday noon from St. Louis and the funeral was held from the Borman undertaking parlors at 2:30. Rev. N. A. McAulay conducted the services and burial was made in Oakland cemetery the following friends of the deceased acting as pallbearers: Messrs. T. J. Hudson, Maruice Foran, Si Lee, Horace Roff, N. James Cole and J. S. Bailey.
