Mrs. James Campbell died Monday morning at 1:50 o'clock at the family home, 588 Ninth avenue.

Deceased, nee Mary Rierdon, was born Jan. 1, 1849, at Galena, Ill. She had been a resident of Clinton for the past 40 years.

Left to mourn her loss are the husband, one son, J. J. Campbell, of this city; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie McHenry, of Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Mike Keating, of Galena, Ill.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's church, where the Rev. Mgr. McLaughlin will celebrate high mass. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. James Campbell were held this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church. The Rev. Mgr. E. J. McLaughlin officiated and burial was made in St. Mary's cemetery. The pallbearers were Edward Carew, Jack Tracey, William Leonard, Michael Kincaid, Patrick Duffy, John McGraw, Frank Rimmer and Dr. J. H. Spence.

Friends from out of the city attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Keating of Galena, Ill., Raymond Keating of Pottsville, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Altflisch, Preston, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wagner, Bellevue, Ia.
