George Walls, 81 years old, for many years a resident of Camanche, died this morning at his home three miles west of town after an illness of one month.

The deceased was born near Hull, England, in 1836. Surviving to mourn his loss are three children, Lillie, Lottie, and Ralph at home, two sisters, Mrs. Dinah Howard of Clinton, Mrs. J. A. Nichols of Camanche, and two brothers, Charles Walls of Clinton and Freer Walls of Camanche.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the late home. Burial will be made in Camanche cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers.

Funeral services for George Walls were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the late home in Camanche. Dr. C. S. Osborn of the Baptist church officiated and burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. The pallbearers were H. A. Cady, D. E. Cady, F. E. Anthony, John Schmach, John Walls and C. H. Willed.

Out-of-town friends present were: Charles Walls and family, George Roberts, John Hall, Francis Hall, of Clinton and Robert Enderby of Lyons.

The funeral services for Mr. Geo. Walls was held at the country home last Thursday afternoon. Mr. Walls passed away Wednesday morning.
