William Pointer died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of S. D. Walker, Calamus. Mr. Pointer had been ill for the past five weeks with typhoid fever.

William Pointer was born at New York City in 1877, and was married to Alice Walker of Calamus, three years ago. Previous to his death, the deceased was employed as traveling salesman for an eastern concern.

Left to mourn his death are his widow and a daughter, Helen, two years old; also his parents and brothers and sisters who reside in the east.

The body will be taken by the midnight express to New York, accompanied by his wife and daughter and S. D. Walker, his father-in-law.
