Mrs. Elizabeth Allen passed away at 7:30 o'clock Monday morning at her home at 1029 North Second street. Mrs. Allen had not been in good health the past month but had been able to be up most of the time. Intelligence of her death was received with regret by many friend in Clinton yesterday.

The deceased was born in Dodington, Cambridgeshire, England, June 28, 1837, and came to the United States in 1849 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Fovargue, residing with them until her marriage with George Allen, who preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1882. Her son Thomas passed away seven years ago.

She leaves to mourn her death, one son George, at home; granddaughter Lucile; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Emma Mathers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; also one step granddaughter, Mrs. George Lollich of Lyons; one sister, Mrs. Hannah Jackson, and one brother, Isaac Fovargue, both of Lyons.

Funeral services will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
