Mrs. Catherine Looney, a long-time resident of Clinton county, passed away at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Tobin, 826 Camanche avenue, after an illness of about two months.

The funeral will be held from St. Mary's church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mrs. Looney is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Tobin and Mrs. Edward Dorsey of this city, and Miss Elizabeth Looney of Chicago.

The deceased was aged 67 years, 11 months and five days. She was born in Ireland, coming to the United States in her childhood, and had made her home in this county ever since. She leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn her death.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Catherine Looney were held at St. Mary's church Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Requiem High mass was celebrated with Monsignor E. J. McLaughlin officiating. Acting as pallbearers for the deceased were: J. Norton, Michael Kincaid, James McHugh, James Hopkins, William Powers and Jacob Bronnecant. Mrs. Elizabeth Looney of Chicago was the out-of-town relative present.
