Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Hattie McErlain at Hepner, Oregon. The remains were brought to Dyersville, Iowa, where they were laid to rest on Thursday last. Deceased was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Mattilda Quigley and for many years was a resident of DeWitt, where her husband conducted a shoe store.

Since the death of her husband, Dennis McErlain, deceased made her home with her brother, Alva Pruyn, at Hepner, Oregon, where her death occurred.
