Dawn R. Mohr, age 54 of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday Sept. 5th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Charlotte. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 PM Wednesday, September 4th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton and from 10:00 AM until the service time Thursday at the church. Casket bearers will be Dean Tittle, Donnie Burke, Jeffrey Crandall, Derek Witt, Isaac Johnson, and Eric Eskildsen. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Dawn was born in Clinton on October 28, 1964, the daughter of David and Shirley (Jensen) Mohr. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1983. Dawn was employed at Pacific Coast Feather, now Hollander Sleep Products in Maquoketa. She had also worked at Dad’s Place in Charlotte. Dawn enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and ranger rides.

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Andrea “Smith” (Kyle) Puetz of Charlotte; her son David Smith (Lisa Mann) of Clinton; 3 grandchildren, Arianna, Quinn and Aubry ; her father, David Mohr of Charlotte and her sister, Deb McEntarfer of Yuma, AZ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley and her brother, Ricky.

Visitation:

Visitation will be from 4 - 7 PM Wednesday, September 4th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton and from 10:00 AM until the service time Thursday at the church.

Service:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday Sept. 5th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Charlotte.
