Mrs. Amelia Sophia Gamble, wife of Dr. T. D. Gamble, of Wheatland, died on the 9th inst. and was buried last Saturday. Mrs. Gamble was well known and loved by all, and her family have the sincere sympathy of all friends in this sad affliction. Rev. Hubbard, of Mechanicsville, preached the funeral sermon. Mrs. H. G. Simpson, of this place, was present at the funeral.
