Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Clara Williams, 99, of 638 S. Bluff Blvd.

She died Wednesday in Mercy North Hospital.

The Rev. Anthony Herold will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in Schmitz Funeral Home, where a 5 p.m. parish vigil service will be conducted. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons: Keith Daehler, Dennis Milder, Richard, Robert, and Rodney Ekstrom and Brian Donaway.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Ekstrom, Matthew Donaway and Dallas, Douglas and Dionyusis Milder.

She was born Oct. 25, 1900 in Brainard, Minn., to Christian and Fredarica Jensen Sorensen. She married George Carl Williams, March 3, 1921, in Clinton. He died in 1975.

She was a homemaker and had been employed with the Clinton Garment Factory for 17 years.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, the Fatima Society and was a lifetime member of the Danish Sisterhood.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" (Richard) Bostock of Clinton, and Mrs. Marietta (Thomas) Daehler of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, George C. Williams of Rock Island, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two infant children, one great-granddaughter, on great-great-grandson, three sisters and a brother.
