After an illness of but two days with pneumonia, Frank Manuel Jackson passed away Sunday morning at the home of his father, Julius Jackson in Elk River at 8:15 o'clock. Deceased was first taken ill on Friday evening about 5 o'clock, but his condition was not alarming and his death comes as a great shock to his many friends in this vicinity.
Frank Jackson was born in Franklin county, Dec. 30, 1886, and while a child moved with his parents to this county, since that time living in and near Elk River. On Dec. 18, 1912, he was united in marriage to Miss Rose Passig, who survives him with one son Everett. For a time they lived on a farm at Almont, but of late have been living with Mr. Jackson's parents at Elk River.
Surviving the deceased, besides his wife and son, are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Jackson; two brothers, William of New Hampton, Iowa, and Byron of Chicago; also six sisters, Clara Jackson, at home; Mrs. Hans Smith of this city, Mrs. Ed Doyle of Sabula, Mrs. Leona Thompson of Elvira, Miss Hannah Jackson of this city and Miss Gladys, who attends school in this city.
The funeral arrangements have not been announced as yet.

The remains of the late Frank M. Jackson arrived here on the 10:15 train, with the funeral party and a number of friends of the deceased from Elk River. The body was taken to Grace church, where the Rev. W. Ernest Stockley conducted funeral services, after which burial was made in Oakland cemetery.
The pallbearers were friends of the deceased as follows: Donald Hammond, Lyle Hammond, George Robinson, Stanley Jackson, William McClintock and Frank McClinton.
Miss Lundy and Mrs. H. P. Fischer sang several appropriate selections.
