Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lind, 224 Grand avenue, and Mr. and Mrs. John Lind, 510 North Third street, were called to Rock Island this noon by the death there of Ernest Ireland, who passed away very suddenly this morning. Mrs. Ireland is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lind.
The deceased lived at 4213 Fourteenth avenue, Rock Island, where he was in the insurance business. For many years he was employed by the John Deer Plow company until his health failed. A number of weeks ago he was in Clinton to attend the funeral of his brother, Frank Ireland.
Besides the widow, there are surviving five children: Ruth, Florence, Glenn, Ronald and Anna.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for the late Ernest Ireland who died suddenly Monday morning, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church at Rock Island, Ill. The body will then be brought to Clinton on the C D & M and services will be conducted here Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. M. J. Locke at the Peter Lind home on 224 Grand avenue.

The funeral of the late John Ernest Ireland, who passed away in Rock Island last Monday, was held this afternoon from the residence of Peter Lind, 224 Grand avenue.
Rev. G. R. Cady, pastor of the First Congregational church, officiated. Interment was made in Springdale cemetery.
Relatives and friends from out of the city who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Ireland and five children, Rock Island; Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Ireland of Cedar Rapids, parents of deceased; C. H. Ireland of Anamosa, a brother; L. L. Ireland, Wyoming, Iowa; Mrs. I. M. Dripps, Olin, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lind, Ottumwa, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Ireland, Anamosa, Iowa; Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Francis, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Van Delden, Chicago; Mrs. J. E. Frawley, Chicago.
The pallbearers were James Peterson, Herman Dettner, Otto Henningsen, Arthur Burdict, Ollie Kelly and John Smith.
