Henry Wohlwend, the Clinton grocery, who sustained a fractured skull in an automobile accident last Sunday, passed away at 3:20 o'clock this morning at Agatha hospital, having been unconscious since the accident five days ago. He was injured by being thrown out of his Ford delivery car while going around a corner, when the steering gear of the machine became locked in some manner, and the car was upset.

Mr. Wohlwend was 39 years of age, having been born March 12, 1878, in Clinton, and made this city his home during his entire life. He was educated in the schools of this city and for the last four and a half years was in the grocery business, the first year being in partnership with his father, who retired three and a half years ago, after which Henry conducted the business himself.

The store is located at 116 South Fourth street, and the home is located over the store.

Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Wohlwend, nee Kohler, three children, Marguerite, aged 11, Henry , aged 9, and Catherine, aged 6 years, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wohlwend, two brothers, William G. Wohlwend, George N. Wohlwend, and two sisters, Mrs. P. A. Scanlan and Miss Pauline Wohlwend, at home, all residing in Clinton.

The funeral arrangements have not been definitely completed and the time will be announced later.

The funeral of the late Henry Wohlwend, who died Thursday morning as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident last Sunday, will be held from the home at 116 South Fourth street Monday morning at 9:00 o'clock. There will be later services at the Sacred Heart church, the Rev. F. A. Brinkman officiating. As far as is known there will be no out of town friends present at the funeral.

The remains of the late Henry Wohlwend were laid to rest this morning at St. Boniface cemetery, Lyons.

The funeral was held from the home over 116 North Fourth street, at 9:00 o'clock with services at the Sacred Heart church, the Rev. F. A. Brinkman officiating.

The acting pallbearers were George Graham, W. E. Hayes, Will Jacobson, Wilson Gobble, John Shelko and Blair Tate.
