Mrs. Oswald Prosser, formerly Miss Vadna Peshia of Clinton, died Thursday at her home in Chicago, where she and her little son Harold, aged 6 years, were quarantined with scarlet fever.
Mrs. Prosser is a niece of Mrs. H. H. Beaumeister, 719 Seventh avenue. Her mother, Mrs. Will Peshia, died when she was a little girl and she made her home with her grandmother, Mrs. O. J. Thornton, in this city, until ten years ago, when she went to Chicago. There she was married to Oswald Prosser, who survives her with two sons, Harold, and Howard, aged 9. The father, who made his home with his daughter, is also left, and a sister, Mrs. Wolcott in Germania, Iowa.
The body arrived in Clinton at noon today and was taken to Springdale cemetery for burial. The Rev. G. R. Cady of the First Congregational church officiated.
