Maren Christina Madsen died at 3 o'clock Monday night near Mill Creek, where she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Bergsterand. They had recently moved here from near Charlotte. The aged woman was born in Denmark.

The funeral will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. P. F. Gotke of the Danish Lutheran church.

The funeral of Mrs. Christine Madsen was held at the little home near Mill Creek Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. P. F. Gotke of the Danish Lutheran church officiated. Burial was made at Springdale cemetery.

A number of friends from near Charlotte attended the funeral.
