Funeral services for August Schroeder, 73, Toronto, were held Aug. 8 in the Toronto Community church, with burial in Pine Hill cemetery, northwest of Wheatland.

Mr. Schroeder was born March 27, 1883 in Grand Mound, the son of Henry Schroeder of Toronto. He was married Feb. 23, 1910 to Freda Bentrott, who preceded him in death in Aug. 1935. Sept. 17, 1938 he married Mrs. Minnie Griebel.

Survivors include his widow; one son, Everette, Lost Nation; two step-sons, Kenneth Griebel, Phoenix, Ariz., and Henry Griebel, East Moline, Ill.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Frank Mostaert, Lowden, and a sister, Mrs. Henry (Anna) Sievers, Toronto.

Pall bearers were Otto Schutt, Carl Schroeder, Arnold Dosland, Henry Struck, Dayton Wolfe and Ed Fritcher. Mrs. Henry Struck, Mrs. William Reinking and Mrs. August Twachtmann were in charge of flowers.
