page 5John Bronenkant, aged 42, a former Clinton resident, was killed Tuesday noon in Maywood, Ill., when he came in contact with live wires of the Public Service company, 3,000 volts said to have caused instant death. He was assisting a man who knew nothing of the work in making some repairs. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, 2655 Fulton street, Chicago.
Mr. Bronenkant is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Chris Bronenkant of Third avenue, Clinton, and brothers, Jacob Frank, Otto and George and a sister, Mrs. Dolphk all of Clinton. All the brothers, except Otto and Chris, accompanied their mother to Chicago. He was a member of Electric lodge No. 868, I.O.O.F.; Garfield council No. 508, K. and L. of S.
