Lida Wilson Bowers died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at Agatha hospital after an illness of three days with pneumonia. Mrs. Bowers was taken sick Thursday afternoon, but her condition was not alarming until Sunday afternoon when she was removed to the hospital.

Mrs. Bowers was the widow of Colonel H. F. Bowers, who passed away six years ago. she was born in Dubuque, Ia., the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Wilson, old and prominent resident of that city. After their marriage twenty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Bowers came to Clinton, where Colonel Bowers practiced law until his death.

Two step-sons and a step-daughter are her survivors, together with two brothers, Thomas Wilson, Arthur, Neb. and W. H., Wilamet, Ill. The children are C. C., Clinton, H. H., Brownsville, O.; and Emma V., Bloomingdale, O.

A nephew Frank, son of W. H. Wilson, has arrived in the city. The funeral arrangements await the arrival of other relatives.

Mrs. Lida Bowers was laid to rest this noon in Springdale cemetery after funeral services at the home of her son, C. C. Bowers. The Rev. Dr. Burrell of St. John's church officiated.

Those who attended the funeral from out of the city were a brother, W. H., and his son, Frank, of Wilamet, Ill.
