Lost Nation, Iowa Feb. 27--Mrs. J. A. White died suddenly at his home northeast of Lost Nation at 10 o'clock Monday morning. She leaves besides her husband three children, her mother, Mrs. Matilda Busch, five brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be held Thursday morning with interment at Lost Nation.

Lost Nation, Ia., March 3--Mary Louisa Busch was born about 33 years ago in 1883 and grew to womanhood on her father's farm north of town. February 21st, 1906, she was united in marriage to John A. White. She had been ailing about three days, but as she was being carried down stairs to be taken to the home of her mother, she died, heart failure being the immediate cause of her death. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Matilda Busch, her husband and three sons, Edgar, Dan and Elmer, four sisters, Anna and Lillian, Mrs. Laura Ruggeberg, Mrs. Esther Scott and five brothers, John, Edward, Raymond, Arthur of Lost Nation, and Fred of Forest City, Iowa. Her father, John D. Busch, preceded her in death a year ago. She and her husband had purchased a farm in Wisconsin and intended in a few days to move there to make their home, but death has changed all plans. The funeral services were held at the Union church Wednesday afternoon in the presence of a large number of sympathizing friends. Rev. Disney took for his text, St. John 13:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things." The choir, Mesdames Smith and Heitman and Messrs. Chas. Christensen and Henry Dickman, sang "God Will Take Care of You", "God's Way is Best" and "Does God Care?" The flowers were beautiful and in their abundance spoke their message of sympathy and love. The pall bearers were Messrs. R. E. Cressey, Fred Daniel, L. Rutenbeck, R. M. Gable, George Edle***was made in the Lost Nation cemetery.
