Robert Hudson, 72 years old, a resident of Low Moor and vicinity for more than half a century, died at the family home Saturday evening at 11 o'clock after an illness of five years.

Mr. Hudson was born in England and came to America with his parents when a small boy, settling on a farm near Low Moor where he has lived all his life. Mrs. Hudson died three years ago.

Three sons and two daughters are left to mourn the death of their father, all of them highly respected residents of Low Moor. They are Frank, Thomas, Richard, Mrs. Mary Wiley, and Miss Nettie.

Funeral services will be held at the church Tuesday at 1 o'clock. Burial will be made at Elvira.

Robert Hudson passed away at his home in Low Moor Saturday night about 11:35 o'clock, after an illness of several months duration. He leaves 2 daughters and 3 sons and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the M.E. church in Low Moore. Interment will be made in Elvira cemetery.

Low Moor, Ia., Nov. 14--Mr. Robert Hudson, an old and respected resident of our city, passed away at the home of his son Frank on Saturday night at 11:30. Mr. Hudson suffered a stroke of paralysis several years ago and has been a great sufferer ever since. He leaves to mourn his loss five children, as follows: Mrs. Merritt Wiley, William, Tom and Frank, and Miss Nettie, several grandchildren and brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held today, conducted by Rev. W. N. Baker, of Mechanicsville. Interment at Elvira.
