Earl John Sweeney, 91, a resident of Hemet California, died on Saturday, March 23rd 2019.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday April 4th at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family and an online condolence may be left at www.papefh.com.

Earl was born on April 17th 1929 in Delmar Iowa. He was the Son of John and Marie (McClimon) Sweeney of Clinton Iowa. Earl served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. He married Mariann Lord, also of Clinton Iowa. He worked as a carpenter, enjoyed woodworking, and playing pool.

Earl is survived by his children, Gale Sweeney, Cathy Koppel and Stanley Sweeney, his seven grandchildren, Aaron and Michael Koppel, Lucas Sweeney, Jeanette Kreutzer and Sarah Goodwin, Stephanie Besant and Patrick Nickel. Earl also had 10 great grandchildren.
