Monday morning Mrs. Nick Thielen passed away at her home near Bryant at 4:30 after a few days illness. A son born Friday died Friday afternoon. Deceased was born Feb. 6, 1877, in Clinton county, the daughter of Broder Hansen and was united in marriage to Nick Thielen about 14 years ago, making her home in this county.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Ruth and Beatrice, also her mother, Mrs. Broder Hansen, a sister, Mrs. Anthony Thielen and a brother, Charles Hansen, all living in the vicinity of Bryant.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home with Rev. Hugo Grimm officiating and burial will be made in the Ingwersen cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Nick Thielen will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home near Bryant with Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church officiating, while interment will be in the Ingwersen cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Nick Thielen, who passed away at her home south of Bryant, was held Thursday afternoon at the residence and was very largely attended. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church officiated. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Following were the pallbearers: Peter Eggers, Chris Martinsen, William Wiese, Otto Roenfeldt, George Kettlesen and John Claussen. The six flower girls were: Misses Lillie, Hannah and Bernice Thielen, Alma Wiese, Elfreda Hansen and Margaret Roenfeldt.
