Georgia O'Hern died at her home, 336 Seventeenth avenue Saturday night at 11 o'clock following an illness of only a few days.

Miss O'Hern has been a resident of Clinton since 1857. She came with her parents to Iowa at that time from Syracuse, N.Y. where she was born in 1855.

She leaves to mourn her death her mother, Mrs. Michael O'Hern, 97 years old, with whom she made her home. Funeral services will be held at the late home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of the Rev. Dr. Burrell of St. John's Episcopal church of which she was a devoted member.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Georgia O'Hern, only daughter of Mrs. Michael O'Hern, at the home 336 Seventh avenue. The Rev. Dr. Burrell of the Episcopal church officiated.

Burial was made in Springdale cemetery, the following acting as pallbearers: John Monahan, James Scanlon, L. F. Machael, William Croake, Patrick Holleran and Elmer Nelson.

Miss O'Hern came to Clinton with her parents in 1857. She leaves as her only surviving relatives an aged mother, 97.

Friends and relatives from out of the city who attended the funeral are Miss Delia Gauhan, Mrs. Patrick Courtney and Miss Courtney, all of Cedar Rapids.
